Description

Root-knot nematodes are not visible to the naked eye. They are obligate endoparasites that complete their life cycle within root of their host. In soils, nematodes survive as eggs and also second stage larvae. Identified by swollen galls/ knots on the roots.

Control

Cultural control methods such crop rotations are difficult to design because of the wide host range root-knot nematodes. Chemical control: Force Plus
